Get Your Skin Ready for Winter with a Chemical Peel!
The winter months can be tough on your skin. The cold, dry air can leave your skin feeling dry, tight, and flaky. If you’re not careful, you might even end up with a case of windburn or frostbite. But don’t worry! There are things you can do to prevent all of that and keep your skin looking and feeling its best all winter long.
There are many benefits of getting a chemical peel, including:
– Smoother, brighter skin
– Improved skin tone and texture
– Reduced appearance of wrinkles and fine lines
– Reduced appearance of acne scars and other blemishes
– Stimulation of new collagen production
What should I expect during a chemical peel?
A chemical peel usually takes 30 minutes to an hour to complete. During the procedure, your aesthetician will cleanse your skin and then apply the chemical solution. You will feel a burning or tingling sensation during this step. Once the solution has been applied, your aesthetician will neutralize it and then apply a soothing ointment or cream.
You may experience some redness, swelling, and peeling in the days following your peel. It is important to protect your skin from the sun during this time by wearing sunscreen and avoiding direct sun exposure. Most people can return to their normal activities immediately after their peel, but you may want to take it easy for a day or two if your skin is feeling sensitive.
A chemical peel is a great way to get your skin ready for winter weather. Chemical peels can improve your skin’s appearance by reducing wrinkles, fine lines, blemishes, and more. If you are thinking about getting a chemical peel, be sure to consult with an experienced aesthetician to ensure that you are getting the best possible results.
